Big boy bike

Today was the inaugural run of Rowan's big boy bike. We borrowed a "Hulk" bike from Amy. We're experiencing training wheel difficulties, so might have to get a different bike, but we'll figure that out. Pictures to come.

I can't believe he's getting so big. I've been having to go hide and cry about it a bit this week. I guess it's hitting me that he'll be 5. 5! That's crazy. I just had him.

Anyway. Misty emotions aside... it's so much fun. I took video too. I'll YouTube it when I find the cable.

Big plans

Rowan says:

Mommy, when I grow up I'm going to live in a house right across the street from you. But I want a cat. So I'll have a cat and when you come over I'll put it out in my fenced back yard. I probably won't know how to cook noodles or anything, so I'll just come to your house.

Stairs: 1, Niall's nose: 0

Niall took a tumble on Friday afternoon.
I don't know exactly what happened, but he missed his footing going down the front steps at Lisa's house, and his nose met the sidewalk in a big way.
He cried for a minute or two, and then was back to requesting "a chip? a chip?"

So I guess it didn't hurt too badly, but it sure looks gnarly!
